About our pastor

Reginald Madden is the pastor of The Living Church, formerly known as Living Praise Tabernacle, Inc. Reginald Madden was called into the ministry and preached his initial sermon at the age of 14 and was subsequently licensed to minister a year later. In addition to preaching, Reginald also served on the Usher Board and choir and routinely assisted the deacons and trustees. Reginald began to assist his grandmother Pastor Doris Bass who
established Living Praise Tabernacle in Saint Albans, New York. In September 2004 Reginald was ordained and appointed as the Assistant Pastor of Living Praise Tabernacle. Since then Rev. Madden has been running with the mission of the ministry preaching and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.


Professionally, Rev. Madden has worked in public and private industry ranging from political campaigns, assisting trial lawyers and court monitoring programs, to managing payroll and hiring for small businesses. In addition to preaching Rev. Madden has established a flourishing career in the field of higher education. Rev. Madden is currently employed by the City University of New York at York College as an Academic Affairs Manager & Early College Liaison. Rev. Madden holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science, a Masters degree in Urban Affairs, both from the City University of New York, and a Master of Arts in Religious Education from
New York Theological Seminary.
